1990年、主宰・川口一史による脚本・演出で『宇宙の真理』を伝説の十七番劇場を結成し上演する。その後『スイッチ』『タシケントの伝説』『二十世紀の伝達者』『幻想運河ピポカンパス』他、すべての公演の作・演出を主宰・川口一史により発表。同時に俳優たちとのコラボレーションステージ「モノクロ・モノローグシリーズ」を企画・発表。その後、主宰・川口が「舞踏」に出会い、アルトー、グロトフスキーらの提唱に、現代演劇再生の可能生を求め、2001年よりカンパニーをプロトタイプシアター１７番劇場に改名し、主宰・演出家として、『無音のワルツ』『ナモノガタリ』『カミュ・誤解』で、舞踏・音楽 家・作家らによるステージを発表する。また、同年より、野村喜和夫、齊藤徹、倉林靖、小見さゆりらによる朗読パフォーマンス「ステージボイス」を発表。主宰・川口が2006年、舞踏家・中嶋夏〈霧笛舎〉公演『夢と廃棄』に参加。以後、舞踏家・中嶋夏の助手として現在に至る。同年、舞踏家・菊地びよ公演『空の根』個人参加。2020年春、中嶋夏ソロ公演『あの子 どこの子 狼少女・〈灰シリーズ〉No,3』に向けて参加。2021年5月、赤坂草月ホールにて詩劇『（覆された宝石）のやうな朝』を上演。2023年5月、阿佐ヶ谷ヴィオロンにてカフカ朗読劇『薔薇色の大きな傷』を上演。2024年５月、赤坂草月ホールにて『カフカの系譜』の上演が決定。（2023/07/01）

Waltz", "Namonogatari", "Kamyu / Misunderstanding". In addition, from the same year, we created reading performance "Stage Voice" with poet Kiwao Nomura, musician Tetu Saitho, Yasushi Kurabayashi, writer Sayuri Komi. In 2006, the presidency Kawaguchi participated in "Dream and Discard", a performance by Butoh artist Natsu Nakajima (Mutekisha). Since 2019, Kawaguchi has joined her works as her assistant. In the same year, Kawaguchi participated in "Kuu no Ne", a performance by Butoh dancer Biyo Kikuchi . In the spring of 2020, Kawaguchi worked in program of Natsu Nakajima , "Anoko Dokonoko Ohkamisyoujo <Ash Series> No.3". In May 2021, 17 theatre performed the "It's a morning like (overturned jewel)" which is poetical performance at Akasaka Sougetsu Hall. In May 2023, a Kafka reading of "Big Rosy Wound" was staged at the Asagaya Violon; in May 2024, Kafka's Genealogy will be performed at the Akasaka Sogetsu Hall. (01 Jul 2023)
